1. All parties agree that they will comply with POPI (Protection of Personal Information) regulations relating to the protection of personal data.
2. I, the applicant hereby certify that the information supplied is true and accurate.
3. I consent to a reasonable investigation into my background and past employment, including my Criminal Record, Credit Record and any other or all investigations that the Company may deem necessary for the purpose of the appointment of my application for employment by the Company.
4. The Company will endeavour to advise the Applicant of the status of his/her employment application within a reasonable period of application. In the event of no such notice being received within five days the application is to be considered unsuccessful.
5. I, the applicant hereby gives consent to the company to conduct a polygraph test if requested as part of the recruitment process.
6. I, the applicant hereby agree and understand that the company may conduct regular polygraph tests throughout my employment with the company.

When you apply for a role with us, we collect information such as, Curriculum Vitae, copy of your cover letter, your full names, residential address, contact details and further information about your skills, education, and experience. We process this information to ensure our legitimate interest in assessing your suitability.

 

Your application will be assessed by Atlas Finance staff and may be selected for interview. Further information will be required from you about your work experience and history to determine your suitability for the role. This information will be processed to ensure our legitimate interests in –

 

   a)  finding a suitable candidate for a role; and
   b)  in preparing to enter into a prospective contract of employment with you.

If you are pre-selected for the role, you will be required to undergo Assessments. This is to evaluate your skills and qualifications, assess culture fit and team compatibility, predict job performance and performance, identify areas of performance and potential, also to prepare for Succession Planning should you be ear-marked for such.

If you are successful in your application during the interview and subsequently selected for the role, details of your reference will be requested, and your reference will be contacted. If you require a working visa for the role, we will also collect further information to facilitate the visa process at this time. We process this information for the purpose of preparing to enter into a prospective contract of employment with you.

 

We do not request or require any special category data from you in the application process, however, by choosing to share your personal information with us will be accepted as your tacit consent for the use of your personal information in relation to your application and in relation to the processing of your information as stated above.

   a)  General overview of Accuracy of Records
   b)  Intention to amend and/or add information
   c)  Intention to permanently remove the record
