Job purpose:
Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of debt review applications, including supporting documentation and responses to requests and proposals. Uphold compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and established processes and procedures.


Key Accountable Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process all documents received via email within required turnaround times.
  • Manage written correspondence from Debt Counsellors and customers, delivering clear, professional, and timely responses.
  • Perform collections activities in line with set targets and performance expectations.
  • Provide exceptional, customer-focused service to internal and external stakeholders, including service providers.
  • Maintain precise records of all interactions, transactions, and processed documentation in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Utilize MS Office (particularly Excel) effectively to support daily operations

Competencies & Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum Matric with a tertiary qualification relevant to the Financial Services industry
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Debt Review process.
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Collections.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of the debt review process and regulatory requirements, including the National Credit Act and its Regulations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Outlook and MS Office (especially Excel); Excalibur experience is advantageous.
